You rarely need only a stamp – more often you need a complete set of documents in the correct order. Choose your situation to see which documents, translations and certifications commonly need to be coordinated.
A university may want both a diploma and transcript, a marriage authority may require civil-status and identity records, and a bank may ask for registration records, signing authority and ownership details. Put everything into one list before ordering or translating the first document.

Start with the document type, the country where it will be used and the intended recipient. If you have instructions or a checklist from the recipient, include them. This makes it easier to distinguish between an apostille, notarisation, a certified copy, translation and legalisation.
You can usually start with a clear scanned copy. If the original is needed for comparison, signature certification or an apostille, you will receive separate instructions on what to send and how to label it.
